A Fake and Contrived Alternate Version of the Associated Press News Wire For September 11th, 2001

According to archive.org, this pdf wasn't posted to the web until March 8, 2008, almost seven years after the harrowing events it aims to chronicle. I can't imagine why the AP thought it could get away with fabricating an entirely specious alternate version of their historically important work from that day. It says something about their corrupt grip over member organizations that they would even attempt it. But they left off their own Dave Winslow, the AP news radio journalist who gave the first word of "the tail end of a large airliner...It plowed right into the Pentagon," at 10:11am. They also forgot to note the collapse of Building 7 around 5:30pm on September 11th.
NEW YORK (AP) – Mounting an audacious attack against the United States, terrorists crashed two hijacked airliners into the World Trade Center and brought down the twin 110-story towers Tuesday morning. A jetliner also slammed into the Pentagon as the seat of government itself came under attack. Tuesday, Sept. 11
