Myra Aronson, 50, of Charlestown, Massachusetts, was a Public Relations Manager for Compuware Corporation in Cambridge. Aronson taught public relations courses at Emerson College and served on the marketing committee for the Handel and Haydn Society, a premier period instrument orchestra and professional chorus. Family and friends described her as athletic and health-conscious. Aronson was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11.

Mark Bavis (CAS '93)

Mark Bavis, 31, of West Newton, Massachusetts, was entering his second season as an amateur scout for the Los Angeles Kings. A Boston native, he played four years on Boston University's hockey team, where his twin brother, Michael, is an assistant coach. In addition to his twin brother, Bavis is survived by his mother, Mary; two other brothers, Pat and Johnny; and three sisters, Kelly, Mary Ellen and Kathy. The Bavis family lost a brother 15 years ago, and Bavis' father died 10 years ago. Bavis was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 175. Thomas More Brennan (GSM '97)

Thomas Brennan, 32, of Scarsdale, New York, died on September 11 in the World Trade Center disaster. He graduated from Boston University with a Masters degree in Business Administration and Management and was an investment banker with Sandler O'Neill & Partners. He was the husband of Jennifer Brennan and the son of John and Anita Brennan. Brennan is also survived by a daughter Catherine Ann, brothers John, Paul, Michael and sister Marybeth. Brennan's wife, Jennifer, gave birth to their son, Thomas More Brennan, Jr.,
on October 24, 2001.

Caleb Arron Dack (MET '93)

Caleb Dack, 39, was born in England and immigrated to Canada with his mother when he was eight years old. In July of 2001 he became Senior Vice President and Director of Global Sales and Alliances at Encompys, a midtown-Manhattan start-up. He was the beloved and adored husband of Abigail Carter, best daddy in the world for Carter, 2, and Olivia, 6, and cherished son of Selena Dack-Forsyth. Peter Hanson, 32, his wife, Sue Hanson, 35, and their daughter, Christine Hanson, 2, of Groton, Massachusetts, were passengers on United Airlines Flight 175. Peter Hanson was Vice President of Sales of Waltham-based TimeTrade. Sue Hanson was a Senior Research Technician at Boston University's MED Pulmonary Center and a doctoral candidate at the university. Heather Ho (MET '92)

Heather Ho, 32, of New York, was an executive pastry chef at New York's Windows on the World restaurant on the 107th Floor of the World Trade Center. Ho, who was usually among the first to arrive at the north tower, has not been heard from since the terrorist attack. She was widely admired for taking a fresh and creative approach to traditional recipes and dreamed of one day owning her own pastry shop. She is survived by her father and mother, Stuart and Mary Ho, brother, Peter Ho, sister, Cecily Sargent, and grandmother, Betty Ho.

Ralph Kershaw (SMG '71)

Ralph Kershaw, 52, of Manchester-by-the-Sea, Massachusetts, was a passenger on United Airlines Flight 175. He was a marine surveyor, world traveler, and owner of the Ray Kershaw Company. In 1977, he became a member of the National Association of Marine Surveyors. He was vice president of the New England region from 1986 through 1992. His advice, knowledge, and expertise in boating were highly sought. Kershaw grew up in Manchester-by-the-Sea and graduated from Manchester High School, where he was a standout basketball player. He was one of the founders of the Men's REC basketball league in Manchester. Kershaw leaves his wife, Hedi (Nieberle); a daughter, Kristin; twin sons, Matthew and Jason; his mother, Elaine; and a brother, Alan, all of Manchester.

Judith Larocque (CAS '73)

Judith Larocque, 50, of Framingham, Massachusetts, was the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Market Perspectives. Larocque was a passenger on American Airlines Flight 11. She was a Framingham native, and loved to walk around the shores of Lake Cochituate with her dog, Naboo. Judy is an avid Beatles fan, an entrepreneur continually drawn to high technology and an accomplished mom. She leaves behind two daughters, Danielle, 29 and Carie 26, and her beloved golden retriever, Naboo, 2. Her energy and spirit live on through them.

Thomas McGuinness, 42, of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, is survived by his wife, Cheryl, and a 14-year-old son and 16-year-old daughter. He was active in Bethany Church in Greenland, New Hampshire, friends and neighbors told The Boston Globe. Rick DeKoven, a church administrator, described him as "a devoted family man." McGuinness was co-pilot on American Airlines Flight 11.

Raymond Metz III, 37, of Trumbull, Connecticut, was a currency broker for Euro Brokers, Inc. on the 84th Floor of 2 World Trade Center. He was an avid sports enthusiast who played recreational hockey and enjoyed skiing. He is survived by his parents, Raymond Metz, Jr. and Margaret Quinn Metz; his beloved wife, Patrice Costello Metz; two daughters, Natalie Anne and Halie Marie; a sister, Wendy Metz; and several cousins, aunts and uncles. Dianne Bullis Snyder, 42, of Westport, Massachusetts, was a flight attendant aboard American Airlines Flight 11. She was a Dartmouth Indoor Tennis Club team member, and a past club champion. She loved to garden, hike, and camp, and was also known for her handmade quilts. Snyder leaves her husband, John, a son, Leland, and daughter, Blakeslee; her parents, Marilyn and Donald Bullis of Madison; a sister, Elizabeth Bullis Wiese of Fairfield, Connecticut; and two brothers, John Bullis and Bradley Bullis, both of Essex, Connecticut.

Craig W. Staub (SMG '92)

Craig Staub, 30, was tragically and innocently killed at the WTC where he worked as a Senior Vice President for Keefe, Bruyette & Woods. He was in the South Tower on the 89th floor. Craig was an investor and analyst for this Wall Street firm that specializes in Banking and Financial Services. He graduated from Boston University in 1992, Summa Cum Laude. For those who knew Craig, he was an exceptional human being full of humor, intelligence, compassion and life. Craig met his wife Stacey in 1994 and they were married on June 25, 2000. Their daughter, Juliette Craig W. Staub, was born on what would have been Craig's 31st birthday, September 22, 2001, 11 days after the terrorist attack. His sister, Carolyn Staub Bilelis, graduated from ENG in 1989. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
